You Don't Need to Become someone else to Become a Stronger Leader.

Leadership can get complicated fast. Competing priorities, workforce pressure, unclear expectations, and constant change can leave even capable leaders carrying too much and wondering how to move forward without burning out.

Whole Leaders helps you see the patterns shaping your experience, connect more deeply to who you are, strengthen the relationships around you, and create a clear vision for the leader you want to become.

The People Behind the Work

We get close enough to see what is really happening and are honest enough to name it. Our backgrounds in psychology, adult development, coaching, organizational development, and healthcare give the work rigor. Warmth and empathy build trust. And humor keeps very human work from becoming unbearably serious.

Our Whole Person Approach

Ultimately, People Don’t Get Your Job Title. They get you.

We believe Whole Person Health is the foundation of impactful leadership. The way you lead is shaped by who you are, the relationships around you, and the future you can imagine.

That is why three Golden Threads run through everything we do.

You are the leader you’ve been waiting for.

01

Whole Person

You do not leave your life experience at the door. The person you are, the experiences that shaped you, and the values you carry all affect how you lead. We help you understand what you bring to your work and connect that understanding to the leader you want to become.

02

Relationship

Leadership happens through relationships. We help you practice trust, feedback, accountability, and the conversations that move people and organizations forward. You’ll develop the skills to create stronger relationships horizontally, vertically, and across organizational boundaries.

03

Transformation

Once you can clearly see the future you want to create, you can begin orienting your choices toward it. We help turn that vision into new ways of leading through real work, real relationships, and the systems around you.

The Process

What to expect

Begin with Connection

You’ll meet the people involved, learn why you’re here, and name what you want from the experience.

Create a Vision

You’ll explore who you want to be as a leader and the impact you want to make.

Applied Learning

Retreats, coaching, feedback, exercises, and peer conversations become places to work on challenges as they happen.

Build support that lasts

You’ll develop relationships, practices, and organizational support that help the work continue beyond the formal program.

“This experience was life-changing for me.”

What becomes possible?

Real growth changes more than how you lead.

Whole Leaders clients often describe the work as both professionally significant and deeply personal. They become more confident in who they are, more connected to the people around them, and more equipped to create meaningful impact without losing themselves in the process.

Personal & Professional Breakthroughs

“That courage changed the trajectory of my life.”

About Whole Leaders

Whole Leaders was founded by John Poore more than two decades ago around a simple conviction: we need more purpose-driven leaders who work together to build a world where everyone can thrive. Based in Montana, Whole Leaders has worked with thousands of leaders across healthcare, human services, foundations, nonprofits, and other mission-driven organizations.

Today, Whole Leaders is growing from a founder-led practice into a broader team of coaches and facilitators carrying decades of experience forward while continuing to evolve the work for the leaders, teams, and organizations facing what comes next.
